An accomplished and talented flutist, Stacey is an early childhood music specialist in Rockland County, NY. She has always been enthusiastic about music and has studied and performed with the flute for over 30 years as well as studied piano. She is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton, entering with a flute performance scholarship and graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She continued her flute interests throughout college by participating in several flute ensembles, college orchestra and band. After college, while gaining 10 years of corporate Human Resources experience, she continued her study in music by completing courses in Music History at Hunter College and maintaining weekly flute lessons. She won a Superior Performance award from the Rockland County Music Teacher's Guild - Young People's Music Auditions and performed Bach sonatas with a piano accompaniment at the New City Library. Stacey has performed in several area orchestras including County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. She is now a member of "Flute Chats", a flute ensemble in Chestnut Ridge, and will be volunteering her time to perform at area nursing homes.

Stacey is a Music Together parent as well and has attended many classes over the years with her children. She is excited to have received her teacher certification from Music Together so she can guide the musical experiences of young children through the Music Together program.

Stacey continues to be inspired by the innate ability young children have in music and rhythm and she recognizes that an early introduction to music is important in affecting children's musical growth. While interacting with children in a musically playful manner and modeling an interest in music in class, she educates parents on enriching their children's musical and communicative skills.
